Oh little girls. I’m awash in a sea of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so whenever I have the chance to escape to princesses, fancy dresses and scooters (obviously) I jump at the chance.
The tiny toes. Oh, the toes.
I kind of wish that dress came in my size.
These photos were actually taken last year, but you know, I didn’t have a website then. Silly me. I love looking back on these photos. These two boys are so darling and full of personality. It’s also fun to see how much I have grown as a photographer, both technically and artistically in the last year. This is why I love photography, it’s a constant fine tuning of the technical along with a constant playing with the artistic. Add in the variable of children and you get magic. After the turmoil of the last five years in my family’s lives I am so grateful that my husband put a camera in my hand and said “go”.
I’ve never looked back.
Baby Ben was about 4 months at the time of this shoot, I love this age, all of the squishy little baby and a hefty dose of awareness and personality. Big Brother Tommy even let me snap a shot or two of him, although he was VERY busy storming the playground with Max. Truly this shoot was about Ben, but if siblings are near…who can resist? Not this gal.
I mean, honestly.
